I had mixed feelings about this hotel. The room, meant to be an executive deluxe, was no better than a standard bed and breakfast, small, and lacked amenities. It was uncomfortably cold as the heater wasn't working properly. On the bright side, it was clean and somewhat comfortable. The service had its ups and downs, ranging from a 'couldn't care less' attitude to friendliness to being surly but efficient. The location was good for shopping, right off Oxford Street near Marble Arch, but I did encounter room booking issues. The dining experience left much to be desired with lukewarm offerings and poor service. The facilities were just average.

The hotel had a delayed room opening by our company agents and the supposed executive deluxe room was disappointing, even worse than a standard bed and breakfast. The temporary air-con units were a letdown. The location between 427 and 429, not at The Selfridge, made it worth it, right off Oxford Street near major department stores like Selfridges & Co and John Lewis.
